  1. Appointment to the Animal Advisory Board.

Consider the request for approval from the Community Development Department for the following:

  1. Appointment of Wendy Van Duyne and Kevin Martin to the Bismarck Planning and Zoning Commission. 
  2. Request of Burleigh County Housing Authority and Liechty Mobile Homes for a right-of-way vacation described as for the South 137.39 feet of South 11th Street, adjacent to Lot 2, Block 2, Wachter's Seventeeth Addition and Blocks 1-7, Leichty's Addition. Staff recommends approval. 
  3. To decommission one (1) Bis-Man Transit fleet vehicle.

Consider the request for approval from the Engineering Department for the following:

  1. An extension of the North Dakota Department of Transportation inspection cycles from 24 months to 48 months for concrete box culverts.
  2. Street closure for 6th Annual BisMarket.
  3. Introduction of and call for PUBLIC HEARING on ordinance 6314, regarding escorts for vehicles of excessive size.

Consider the request for approval from the Finance Department for the following:

  1. An upgrade for the Kronos time clocks.

Consider the request for approval from the Finance Department - Assessing Division for the following:

  1. Application for property tax abatement 2017, complainant or property is exempt from taxation for property at 1016 N 28th St. 
  2. Application for property tax abatement 2017, property improvement was destroyed or damaged due to a fire, for property at 1900 Industrial Dr.
 
H.

Consider the request for approval from the Fire Department for the following:

  1. A Memorandum of Understanding with the State of North Dakota through the Information Technology Department.

Consider the request for approval from the Human Resource Department for the following:

  1. Public Works - Utility Services job title and classification modifications.

Consider the request for approval from the Police Department for the following:

  1. To accept a donation to go towards the purchase of a new 4th K9 Service Dog.

Consider the request for approval from the Public Works - Service Operations Department for the following:

  1. Permission to reallocate Roads and Streets Division funds from the purchase of a snow blower to the purchase of a skid steer loader with asphalt cutter.
