Description:

The City of Bismarck is accepting proposals for the Police Station Fence Project.  Proposals will be received by the Board of City Commissioners, of the City of Bismarck, in the Offices of the City Administrator, until three (3:00) o’clock p.m., Wednesday May 31, 2017.  Bids will be publicly opened and reviewed at four (4:00) o’clock  p.m. on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Meeting Room A, First Floor, City/County Building at 221 North 5th St., Bismarck, North Dakota. 

A Pre-Bid Site Visit will be held at the Police Station at 700 South 9th Street, Bismarck on Tuesday, May 23, 2016 at 10:00 am.  Meet at First Floor meeting room.

Qualifications:
The proposals must be mailed to the City Administrator (PO Box 5503, Bismarck ND 58506-5503) or otherwise deposited with the City Administrator (221 N 5th Street, Bismarck ND 58501) and shall be sealed and endorsed “Police Station Fence Project”. If a bid is to be faxed, the bid must be sent to a bidder’s agent independent of the City of Bismarck, placed in a sealed envelope, labeled according to this specification, and delivered to the office of the City Administrator prior to the bid deadline.

Bids must be submitted on blanks furnished by the City of Bismarck and in accordance with specifications and conditions contained therein. Specifications and bidding documents may be obtained upon request from the Facilities Manager at 701-355-1700 or lwohl@bismarcknd.gov. All bidders are invited to be present at the opening of the proposals.

Special Requirements:
A bidder’s bond in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the gross sum bid, enclosed in a separate envelope marked “Bid Bond”, must accompany each proposal. Bonds of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned to them after making the award.
Miscellaneous:
The right is reserved to hold all bids for a period of forty-five (45) days, to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities or to accept such as may be determined to be for the best interest of the City of Bismarck.
