The Board of City Commissioners of the City of Bismarck is seeking bids to provide LED Luminaires.

All bids will be submitted to the City Administrator at P.O. Box 5503, Bismarck, ND 58506-5503, or 221 North Fifth Street, Bismarck, North Dakota 58501, by 3:00 p.m. Central Standard Time, Monday, November 20, 2017.  The Luminaires must be provided according to the specifications provided by the City.  Bids will be opened at 4:00 p.m., Monday, November 20, 2017.  Bid award will take place at the City Commission Meeting on Tuesday, November 28, 2017.

The bids must be mailed to or deposited with the City Administrator by the deadline for submission and shall be sealed and endorsed “Proposal to Provide LED Luminaires.”

Special Requirements:
Bids shall be made on the basis of cash payment for the equipment provided, delivered to the City of Bismarck Public Works Department. All luminaires shall be delivered to the City of Bismarck no later than February 6, 2018. Minimum of 10 weeks after awarded.

There shall be deducted from any money due the supplier the sum of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for each calendar day that the delivery is delayed. Such deducted amounts shall be charged as liquidated damages and not as a penalty.

In accordance with North Dakota state law, a separate envelope containing a bid bond or certified check in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount bid must be attached to the outside of the proposal/bid envelope and labeled “Bid Bond”. Bonds or checks of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned to them after making the award.

The Board of City Commissioners reserves the right to hold all bids for a period of thirty (30) days after the date fixed for the opening thereof and reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities whenever it is for the best interest of the City of Bismarck.
