The Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan identifies natural hazards (ex: flood, winter storms) as well as technological and human-caused hazards. A key component of the document is to identify mitigation actions to minimize impact. The plan is developed through a coordinated effort to include many planning partners and public input.
Bismarck area residents and interested parties from neighboring jurisdictions may review and provide comment at any time. Your ideas regarding actions that can be taken to minimize the likelihood or the impact of any potential disaster (ie: natural hazards) are always welcome.
