On April 1, 2020, the United States will conduct its constitutionally mandated decennial (10 year) Census to determine the current population of the United States. In March of 2020, your household will receive a notification to complete the Census for everyone living in your household.

Census Jobs

The U.S. Census Bureau needs community champions in North Dakota for the 2020 Census. Civic minded individuals who care about their communities are needed to help in the enumeration for Census 2020.  Schedules are flexible with a pay range between $13.50 and $21 an hour. No previous experience is needed. You must be 18 years old, a U.S. Citizen and complete a background check. The wide variety of positions available can be viewed here.


2020 Bismarck-Burleigh Complete Count Committee

The City of Bismarck and Burleigh County have established a joint Census 2020 Complete Count Committee to develop and implement an awareness campaign that motivates residents to respond to the 2020 Census and encourages participation by population groups that are often undercounted.
