The Board of City Commissioners is scheduled to meet in regular session on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at 5:15 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City/County Office Building, 221 North Fifth Street, Bismarck, North Dakota.

The Invocation and the Pledge of Allegiance will be presented by a Chaplain from the Bismarck Police Department.

The City of Bismarck encourages citizens to provide their comments for public hearing items on the Bismarck City Commission agenda via email to bismarckadmin@bismarcknd.gov. Please include the item number that your comment references. The comments will be sent to the members and placed with the minutes.

To ensure your comments are received before the meeting, please submit them by 3:30 p.m. on the day of the meeting and reference the item your comments address. If you would like to appear via video or audio link for a 3-5 minute comment on a regular agenda public hearing item, please provide your email address and contact information to the above email at least one business day before the meeting.

  1. Minor subdivision final plat of Cottonwood Parkview Addition First Replat, requested by EWR Bismarck Land South, LLC and Wachter Family Revocable Trust. The Bismarck Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval.
  2. Minor subdivision final plat of Northern Sky Second Addition First Replat, requested by Wilment Development, LLC. The Bismarck Planning and Zoning Commission recommends approval.
  3. Request on behalf of Bis-Man Transit to submit an application for the 2022 Fiscal Year, Section 5339 grant funding.
  4. Request for approval of the public sale of surplus property.

Consider the request for approval from the Engineering Department for the following:

  1. Resolution receiving bids and ordering the preparation of the engineer’s statement and resolution awarding contracts for the construction of sidewalk, curb and gutter and driveways 2022, CC2022 – Parts A & B.

  1. Permission to conduct the Annual Deer and Turkey Archery Hunting Program on City properties.

  1. Permission to apply for APWA grant for Public Works Day Celebration.
  2. Permission to enter into the second option year of the stump removal contract with Beaver Creek Tree Service for 2022.
  3. Additional Building Service Worker to the Building Maintenance Division.
  4. Permission to sell Public Works inventory at the City Auction.
  5. Award bid for LED Luminaires for Public Works Service Operations.
  6. Permission to purchase office furniture under the State of North Dakota bid contract for the 2022 budget year.
  7. Permission to close out competitive bidding for skylight weathercoat reconditioning at the Public Works Building without a bid award.
  8. Award the bid for traffic signal video detection systems.
