The Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization and the City of Bismarck are leading an effort to transform the downtown area into a vibrant place where people want to live, work and be entertained. The effort will address issues such as parking, traffic, quiet rail, walking and biking downtown; and identify opportunities for new public gathering spaces, “greening” downtown streets, a transit hub, and encouraging people to live downtown.
This first of three public workshops will provide the residents of Bismarck the opportunity to share ideas, ask questions, and gain a greater understanding of the study process.
