Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public meeting on Tuesday October 15, 2013 at 10:00am (in conjunction with the regularly scheduled MPO Technical Advisory Committee meeting). The meeting will be held in the Training Room of the Bis-Man Transit Building at 3750 East Rosser Avenue, Bismarck, North Dakota.

The purpose of the meeting is to provide an opportunity for public involvement in consideration of the adoption of the 2014-2017 Final TIP. The TIP includes metropolitan area transportation projects proposed by the following jurisdictions: Bismarck, Mandan, Lincoln, Morton County, Burleigh County, and NDDOT. Additionally the TIP includes the Program of Projects or the list of transit needs to be funded over the next four years. A Draft 2014-2017 TIP was adopted at the September 17, 2013 Bismarck-Mandan MPO Policy Board. Changes have been proposed to the adopted Draft 2014-2017 TIP.

Furthermore, the public is notified that changes to the 2014-2017 TIP will be available for citizens to review at the Bismarck Community Development Office, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, beginning October 1, 2013. Following the consideration of citizen’s comments, the proposed document will be presented to the MPO Policy Board for possible adoption as the Final 2014-2017 TIP.

The public is invited to submit written comments to the Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization no later than 12:00 pm, October 15, 2013, to P.O. Box 5503, Bismarck, North Dakota, 58506. Written comments may also be submitted via Email and should be specifically identified as public input on the proposed amendments to the LRTP.
