A public hearing for the Draft Downtown Sub Area Plan and Implementation Strategy will be held in conjunction with the Bismarck Planning and Zoning Commission meeting on Wednesday, November 20th, 2013, in the Tom Baker Meeting Room at 221 N. 5th Street beginning at 5:00 pm.
The Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) and City of Bismarck, along with planning firm Crandall Arambula, have prepared a Draft Downtown Bismarck Subarea Plan and Implementation Strategy that is the culmination of a nine month public process and effort to transform the downtown area into a vibrant place where people want to live, work and be entertained.
The draft plan document has been prepared and is ready for presentation to the Bismarck Planning and Zoning Commission for possible recommendation for acceptance/adoption to the City Commission.
