Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public hearing on Monday December 17, 2018 at 10am regarding proposed amendments to the Bismarck-Mandan 2019-2022 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The
meeting will be held in conjunction with the regularly scheduled meeting of the
Bismarck-Mandan MPO Technical Advisory Committee located at the Bis-Man Transit
facility training room at 3750 East Rosser Avenue, Bismarck, ND.
The purpose of the public
hearing is to provide an opportunity for public involvement in the review of the
proposed amendments to the projects and the Transit Asset Management and
Transportation Performance Management compliance language for the 2019-2022
TIP. The TIP includes federally funded metropolitan area transportation projects over a four-year time frame.
Further, the public is
notified that the proposed amendments to the 2019-2022 TIP will be available on the MPO webpage beginning Thursday, November 29, 2018. The
proposed amendments will also be available for citizens to review at the
Bismarck Community Development Office, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota. Following the consideration period of citizen’s comments, the proposed amendments will be presented to the MPO Policy Board for possible adoption as part of the 2019-2022 TIP, contingent upon no substantive change required due to public comments.
