BISMARCK, N.D. – Today, at a special meeting of the Bismarck Board of City Commissioners, the board rescinded the city’s Pandemic Mitigation Strategy.
To align with the Governor’s and Interim State Health Officer’s new state orders the board felt it would be appropriate to repeal the city’s Pandemic Mitigation Strategy that was passed by the Commission at the Oct. 27, 2020 meeting, to eliminate confusion among businesses and the general public.
On Nov. 13, 2020, Gov. Burgum announced new requirements for the state. This included a mask mandate, capacity limitations for all gatherings and restrictions on bars, restaurants, food service establishments, schools and community activities.
