[ARCHIVED] Public Involvement for Proposed Amendments to the 2021-2024 Transportation Improvement Program

The Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public hearing on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 10:00 am regarding proposed amendments to the Bismarck-Mandan 2021-2024 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).  The meeting will be held in conjunction with the regularly scheduled meeting of the Technical Advisory Committee in the Tom Baker Meeting Room of the City/County Office Building located at 221 N 5th Street, Bismarck, ND.

The public hearing will provide additional opportunity for public involvement in the review of proposed amendments to the 2021-2024 TIP.  The proposed amendments are for the removal of one Mandan project from the TIP and to move a bridge project on I-94, which also includes estimated cost increases, from construction year 2024 into year 2021 within the TIP.

The proposed amendments can be viewed HERE or at the Bismarck Community Development Office located at 221 N 5th Street, Bismarck, ND, beginning May 3, 2021.  Following the consideration period of citizens' comments, the proposed amendments will be presented to the MPO Policy Board for possible adoption as part of the 2021-2024 TIP.

The public is invited to attend the public hearing or to submit written comments directed to Rachel Drewlow of the MPO no later than 9:00 am Monday, May 17, 2021 to PO Box 5503, Bismarck, ND  58506-5503.  Written comments may also be Emailed or faxed to 701-222-6450.  Written comments which are emailed or faxed should be specifically identified as public input on the proposed changes to the 2021-2024 TIP.  Contact Rachel Drewlow, MPO Executive Director at 701-355-1852 for additional information.
