Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck-Mandan Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) will hold a public hearing on Tuesday June 21, 2022 at 1:30pm regarding a proposed amendment to the Bismarck-Mandan 2022-2025 TIP. The meeting will be held in conjunction with the regularly scheduled meeting of the Bismarck-Mandan MPO Policy Board in the Tom Baker Meeting Room of the City/County Office Building at 221 N. 5th Street, Bismarck, ND.
The purpose of the public hearing is to provide an opportunity for public involvement in the review of proposed amendment to the 2022-2025 TIP. The TIP includes federally funded metropolitan area transportation projects over a four-year time frame. The proposed amendment increases the costs of a project for installing wrong way detection systems on the McKenzie Drive Interchange.
The public is invited to attend the public hearing, or submit written comments directed to Stephen Larson of the MPO no later than 9am Tuesday, June 21, 2022 to P.O. Box 5503, Bismarck, ND, 58506. Written comments may also be e-mailed to slarson@bismarcknd.gov or faxed to (701) 222-6450. Comments which are e-mailed or faxed should be specifically identified as public input on the proposed changes to the 2022-2025 TIP.
