City of Bismarck Extends Call for Photos to Public

Bridge and River Boat by Jamie VetterThe City of Bismarck is kicking off its annual Call for Photos, but this year there is extra incentive to participate: The winner of this year’s contest will have their photo incorporated into the City of Bismarck’s homepage.

“We are in the process of redesigning the City of Bismarck website and this would be a pretty cool way for someone to get their photography incorporated into the design,” said Bismarck’s Communication Strategist Kalen Ost. “We are always looking for different ways to engage the community, and this would be a unique way for a photographer to make their impact on Bismarck.”

Photos can be submitted from now through November 30, 2023. High resolution photos (at least 300 dpi or 1024x768 pixels) are recommended. By submitting photo(s) you are granting the City of Bismarck permission for non-exclusive rights to use your photograph(s):

  • Buffalo Statue by Sarah BengtsonPhotos must have been taken between October 1, 2022 and November 30, 2023.
  • Photos must be from a location within Bismarck. Abstract photography is welcome, as long as there is a connection to Bismarck.
