Bidding documents may be obtained by prime bidders from EAPC upon request. A deposit of $100.00 is required for one set. If the bidder returns the set of documents, in good condition, within 10 days following the bid date, the deposit will be refunded. If the bidder does not return the set of documents within the designated time, none of the deposit will be refunded.
Partial or complete sets of prints and specifications may be obtained from EAPC by other than the above. The sets or partial sets will be distributed upon receipt of payment for the information charged at the current reproduction rate. None of this payment will be refunded. Completeness and adequacy of the list of documents requested shall be the responsibility of the person making the request.
In light of the COVID-19 epidemic, we would like to protect you and our staff as much as possible. We are offering the ability to appear at the bid opening via video/audio on Microsoft Teams, in addition to appearing in person. There is no charge for this. If you wish to appear virtually at the bid opening, please send your email address to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than 3:00 p.m. on the bid opening day. We will arrange a video bid opening for you to see and hear as the bids are opened.
OBTAINING DOCUMENTS. Drawings and Specifications may be examined at the Architect/Engineer's office, and the Owner's office at the address shown above and:
CONTRACTOR’S LICENSE. All bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their bids, as provided by North Dakota Century Code Section 43 07-05. All bidders must include a copy of their current North Dakota contractor’s license or renewal in the same separate envelope with the Bidders Bond pursuant to NDCC Section 48-01.2-05(4). No bid will be read or considered which does not fully comply with the above provisions as to bond and licenses, and any bid submitted deficient in these respects will be re sealed and returned to the bidder immediately.
THE OWNER reserves the right to waive irregularities, to reject Bids and to hold all Bids for a period of 60 days after the date fixed for the opening thereof. A contract for the work may be awarded to the successful bidder will by the Bismarck City Commission.
