CITY OF BISMARCK
FIRE STATION #1-BOILER UPGRADE
Single Prime Bids for the Boiler Upgrade at the Fire Station #1 (Central Fire Station) will be received by the Board of City Commissioners of the City of Bismarck in the office of the City Administrator (221 N 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota 58501) until 3:00 p.m. CDT on Wednesday, May 19, 2021. Bids will be publicly opened and reviewed at 4:00 p.m. CDT on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, at the City/County Building in the Mayor’s Conference Room located at 221 N 5th Street, 4th Floor, Bismarck, North Dakota.
The scope of work includes the replacement of one natural gas fire hydronic water heating boiler and associated hydronic pumps and appurtenances with two new natural gas fire hydronic water boilers and new hydronic pumps, appurtenances and associated electrical work.
Questions regarding the bidding documents shall be directed to EngTech Engineers and Architects; Nathan Gaffrey at 701-258-7077. All product substitution requests, and prior approvals must use the Substitution Request Form found in the Project Manual and must be received in writing or by e-mail on or before seven (7) calendar days prior to the bid opening. Responses to questions will be issued by Addenda no later than three (3) calendar days prior to the bid opening.

Bidders desiring hard copies may obtain them by providing a non-refundable deposit of $75.00 per set in the form of a check made out to EngTech. Bidder requesting plans is responsible for all shipping and handling costs.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at 3:00 pm at Fire Station #1. Construction will be allowed to start immediately upon notice to proceed and is to be substantially complete by August 15, 2021.
