Lapsit Baby Story Time

Thursdays, 9:30am
Ages: Infants up to 24 months (15 minutes)
Lapsit Baby Story Time is for children held in caregiver laps for books, songs, and puppets. Through this story time interaction, your baby will develop language and social skills. Plus, story time fosters a close emotional relationship between you and your baby. Babies learn to associate books with the pleasure of being with parents, and this pleasure will translate to a love of reading.

Toddler Story Time

Tuesdays, 9:30am & 10:15am
Ages: 18 months to 3 years (20 minutes)
Toddler Story Time focuses on songs and books because we are teaching children to love and appreciate stories, while helping them learn how to attend a library story time. Singing also helps develop language, sounds, and patterns, which all build on your child's early literacy skills. There are NO PUPPETS used during Toddler Story Time, so the focus can be on the stories, songs, and books.

Preschool Story Time

Wednesdays, 9:30am & 10:15am
Thursdays, 10:15am
Ages: 3-6 years (25 minutes)
Preschool Story Time focuses on books, puppets, and songs. Speaking puppets help bring stories to life and spark imagination in your child. Our main focus at Preschool Story Time is to instill a love of reading, encourage creativity, and help children become aware of the world around them.

Family Story Time

Mondays, 6pm
Family Story Time is an engaging and interactive session that encourages families to come together to enjoy a mix of stories, songs, and puppets that captivate both young and old. Family Story Time aims to cultivate strong bonds through shared experiences, while also enhancing language skills and encouraging imagination. Join us for an evening of fun and storytelling that everyone can enjoy!
