Due to weather, the intersection of Washington Street and Boulevard Avenue will remain closed until early next week. The contractor will work into the weekend to complete the necessary work to reopen the intersection. Notification of reopening the intersection will be posted later. Detours will remain in place. Westbound traffic will be detoured from Boulevard Avenue south on 1st Street to Avenue F, then west on Avenue F to Griffin Street back to Boulevard Avenue. Eastbound traffic will be detoured from Boulevard Avenue south on Griffin Street to Avenue F, then east on Avenue F to 1st Street back to Boulevard Avenue. Northbound traffic desiring to go east will be detoured from Washington Street east at Tower Avenue to 1st Street, then north on 1st Street to Boulevard Avenue. Northbound traffic desiring to go west will be detoured from Washington Street east at West Avenue F to Griffin Street, then north on Griffin Street to Boulevard Avenue.
