Starting at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, July 11, 2011, 26th Street will be closed to southbound through traffic between Bismarck Expressway and Vermont Avenue to replace a water main valve in the center of 26th Street. A detour route will be in place for southbound traffic. Southbound traffic on 26th Street will follow the detour route east on Vermont Avenue to Burlington Drive, south on Burlington Drive to Bismarck Expressway, and then west on Bismarck Expressway back to 26th Street. The street closure will be in place through Wednesday, weather permitting.
