[ARCHIVED] Forty-Eight Hour Parking Ordinance is Reinstated Effective August 17, 2011

Mayor John Warford declared today, August 11, that the previous emergency action suspending the enforcement of City Ordinance 12-13-19, regarding 48 hour parking, is rescinded effective August 17, 2011. City Ordinance 12-13-19 is reinstated as of August 17, 2011 and will again be enforced as of that date.

12-13-19. Parking Consecutively Over Forty-Eight HoursIt is unlawful for anyone to park or leave standing on any public street or highway in the city any vehicle, boat, snowmobile, bumper pull travel trailer, fifth wheel trailer, pull type camper, pickup camper, motor home, house car, bus, mini motor home, or trailer for a period longer than forty-eight hours consecutively. Any person violating this section is subject to a fine of Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) per each day of violation. A vehicle, boat, snowmobile, bumper pull travel trailer, fifth wheel trailer, pull type camper, pickup camper, motor home, house car, bus, mini motor home, or trailer left parked or standing on any public street or highway for a consecutive period longer than forty-eight hours shall beconsidered abandoned for purposes of Section 12-13-23(k).
