Starting on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, Schafer Street will be closed to through traffic between College Drive and Canary Avenue for street improvements. A detour will be in place.
The closure will be in place for one week, weather permitting.
Southbound Schafer Street traffic will be detoured east on Divide Avenue to College Drive, then south on College Drive to Ward Road, then south on Ward Road to Edwards Avenue, and then west on Edwards Avenue back to Schafer Street.
Northbound Schafer Street traffic will be detoured east on Edwards Avenue to Ward Road, then north on Ward Road to College Drive, then north on College Drive to Divide Avenue, and then west on Divide Avenue back to Schafer Street.
Local traffic should use alternate routes.
