The City of Bismarck Waste Collection crews were unable to pick up garbage today, in some areas of Bismarck, due to the road conditions. Friday's route and Monday's route that was to be collected on Monday, November 28th will be collected Tuesday or Wednesday this week.
Residents are asked to remove their garbage cans from the curb until snow plows have cleared their area. After streets are cleared place your garbage can out for collection to be picked up Tuesday or Wednesday.
Apartment Complexes – To ensure that the dumpsters are emptied during the winter months the snow must be removed in front and around the container. The container must be moved a minimum of 7 feet from where it is setting in order to be emptied. The waste collection crew must be able to maneuver the container in order to hook it up to the truck.
