[ARCHIVED] Bismarck Planning and Zoning Commission to hold public hearings

Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will hold public hearings on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at 5:00 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City-County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, to consider the following items:

• Request of Pete and Elaine Brendel for approval of a final plat and zoning change from the A-Agricultural zoning district to the RR-Residential zoning district for Last Chance Subdivision, a 20-lot subdivision on 40.13 acres.  The property is located northeast of Bismarck, between 71st Avenue NE and 57th Avenue NE, along the west side of 26th Street NE (part of the NE1/4 including Auditor’s Lot A of the NE1/4 of Section 10, T139N-R80W/Hay Creek Township).

• Request of Michael Baumgartner Construction, Inc. for approval of a minor subdivision final plat for Hamilton’s First Addition First Replat, a one-lot subdivision on 3.38 acres and a zoning change from the Conditional RM15-Residential zoning district to the RM15-Residential zoning district for said subdivision and the remainder of Lot 1, Block 1, Hamilton’s First Addition.  The property is located in northeast Bismarck, on the south side of East Calgary Avenue and the east side of Hamilton Street, directly across from and to the south of Legacy High School (being a replat of part of Lot 1 and all of Lot 2, Block 1, Hamilton’s First Addition).

• Request of Corey and Paula Hunt for approval of a rural residential lot split for Lot 2, Hanson Subdivision.  The property is located north of Bismarck, south of Burnt Creek Loop along the east side of Fernwood Drive.

• Request of Northland Restaurant Group for approval of a special use permit for a drive-through in conjunction with a re-constructed restaurant use to be located on Lot 1, Block 3, Casey Commercial Park.  The property is located in central Bismarck, east of State Street between East Capitol Avenue and East Central Avenue (1301 Capitol Avenue).

• Request of Robert Eastgate and Fairview Cemetery Association for approval of a special use permit for a pet cemetery and pet crematorium to be located on the N1/2 of the NW1/4 of Section 26, City Lands.  The property is located in east Bismarck, south of East Century Avenue between Hamilton Street and Soo Line Railroad.

• Request of Depot Properties, LLC for approval of a special use permit for a microbrewery, in conjunction with a brew-pub, to be located on Tract 411 of Lots 1-12, Block 10, Original Plat.  The property is located in downtown Bismarck, south of East Main Avenue between South 4th Street and South 5th Street (411 East Main Avenue).

At these hearings, the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will provide an opportunity for all interested persons to be heard with respect to these items.  Interested persons may also submit written comments regarding these requests prior to the meeting to the Community Development Department, PO Box 5503, Bismarck, North Dakota 58506-5503, fax: 701-222-6450, or Email.  Interested persons may also call 701-355-1840 with questions or for additional information. 

Descriptions of these requests are on file and may be viewed or copied any working day between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the City-County Community Development Department, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota.
