[ARCHIVED] City of Bismarck Snow Removal Operations - January 18-21, 2011

City Streets Snow Removal - January 18-21, 2011Street Department crews will be plowing residential streets during regular hours, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm throughout the week. Crews will continue to plow until all streets are cleared.

Please move vehicles off of the street and keep them off the street until the plows are finished in your area.

It is the property owner’s responsibility to clear snow around their mailbox. If it is a cluster box, it is the responsibility of those residents to clear the snow from around the cluster box.

DOWNTOWN SNOW REMOVALAny cars parked on these downtown street during that time will be towed.

1:00 am – 7:00 am on Wednesday, January 19thThe City of Bismarck Street Department will be removing snow from the downtown North – South streets in the signed areas (Street Cleaning/No Parking).

1:00 am – 7:00 am on Thursday, January 20thThe City of Bismarck Street Department will be removing snow from the downtown East – West streets in the signed areas (Street Cleaning/No Parking).

1:00 am – 7:00 am on Friday, January 21stThe City of Bismarck Street Department will be removing snow from the downtown North – South streets in the signed areas (Street Cleaning/No Parking).

Businesses along these signed street cleaning areas should have their sidewalks cleaned before midnight on their designated day.

A reminder to all citizens, businesses, and contractors. According to City Ordinance a person may not move, dump or deposit by any means any snow or ice accumulated on private property onto any public street, alley, or public right-of-way. The fine for this violation is up to $1,000.
