The Bismarck Police Department and the West Dakota SWAT Team will be conducting a training exercise in the 300 Block of West Burleigh Ave on Wednesday, September 13th from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
During the training exercise, residents may observe or hear law enforcement officers conducting simulated law enforcement activities in the area. Please be aware there will be:
- Officers in possession of firearms
- Police vehicles, armored vehicles, etc.
- Officers engaging with scenario role players
- Officer discharging simulated firearms or other devices that emit a loud audible noise consistent with the sound of gunshots or fireworks.
