On 01/12/2017 Officers and Detectives with the Bismarck Police Department arrested Jerry Holmes for the armed robbery which occurred on 12/24/2017, at the Kum and Go gas station located at 207 East Rosser Avenue.
Following the robbery evidence was gathered which tracked the masked suspect's movements, and obtained evidence which lead to the arrest of Holmes for committing the robbery. Holmes was additionally charged with attempted felony theft, preventing arrest on a felony arrest, and attempted assault on a Peace Officer.
Evidence gathered in the case showed that the intent of the robbery was to acquire money in order to fund the trafficking of narcotics.
The case is still under investigation.
