With Bismarck’s 146th birthday less than a week away, the Bismarck Historical Society will celebrate the event with a revised observance of its annual Founders Day program by recognizing and honoring Bismarck’s mayors. YOU ARE INVITED!
Special guests of the event will be four of Bismarck’s five living mayors, each of whom will participate in a round table discussion of the City as it was during their particular administration. Participating mayors (past or present) will be Mayors Robert Heskin, Bill Sorensen, John Warford and Mike Seminary.
Following a social and ceremonial break, and a serving of birthday cupcakes, Bismarck Historical Society board members Kate Waldera and Ann Vadnie will present a review of all the mayors who have served Bismarck. Students from Robert Miller Elementary School and Lincoln Elementary School will also participate in the program.
