Alternative participation options are being offered for the Bismarck-Mandan Transit Development Plan public meetings January 29 and January 30 due to the extremely cold weather and suspension of Transit services anticipated on these dates. The scheduled meeting January 29 will continue to take place in Bismarck at 10:00-11:30 AM, and again at 4:00-5:30 PM, at the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Library Room A, 515 North 5th Street, Bismarck, ND. The January 30 scheduled meeting will take place in Mandan, from 5:00-6:30 PM, at the Mandan City Hall Commission Room, 205 2nd Avenue NW, Mandan, ND.
Material from the public meetings will be made available online for individuals who are unable to attend in person. Material includes a pre-recorded version of the 20-minute presentation, an interactive community survey of revised service options, meeting displays, and the official comment form. Online information will also be accompanied by a "Frequently Asked Questions" sheet which will strive to extend the discussion from the in-person meetings. Please look for these materials on the homepage of the project site at www.transitplanbisman.com. Online materials will be available until February 15, 2019.
