Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will hold public hearings on Wednesday, September 25, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City-County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, to consider the following items:
• Request of Susan Mae Morris Living Trust and Gideon’s Brewing Company, Inc. for approval of a special use permit for a microbrewery to be located on Lots 16-18, Block 46, Original Plat. The property is located in downtown Bismarck, north of East Main Avenue, in the northeast quadrant of the intersection of East Main Avenue and North 5th Street (107 North 5th Street).
• Request of Jeff and Kylee Litton for approval of a special use permit for an accessory dwelling unit to be located on Lot 48, Block 5, Falconer Estates. The property is located south of Bismarck, south of Oahe Bend, east of Sibley Drive, along the south side of Apple Creek Drive (6749 Apple Creek Drive).
• Request of Jason and Dawn Mayer for approval of a special use permit to increase the total square footage of accessory buildings to 3,168 square feet on Lot 3B of Lot 3, Block 1, Falconer Estates. The property is located south of Bismarck, south of 48th Avenue SE east of Sibley Drive and west of University Drive, along the north side of Apple Creek Drive (5220 Apple Creek Road).
• Request of Randy and Amy Davis for a special use permit for an accessory dwelling unit to be located on Lot 2, Block 1, Apple Meadows Second Subdivision. The property is located east of Bismarck, south of County Highway 10 and west of 80th Street SE, along the east side of the Cortland Place cul-de-sac (7643 Cortland Place).
• Request of Stephanie Bomseth-Peterson for approval of a special use permit to increase the total square footage of accessory buildings to 3,200 square feet on Lot 8, Block 1, Ponderosa Riverside Village Sixth Subdivision. The property is located north of Bismarck, west of Burnt Creek Loop and north of Ponderosa Avenue, along the west side of the Nordic Place cul-de-sac (5485 Nordic Place).
• Request of the City of Bismarck for approval of zoning ordinance text amendment relating to the regulation of signs. The proposed amendment would add a new chapter to Title 14 (Zoning) of the City Code of Ordinances pertaining to the regulation of signs.
At these hearings, the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will provide an opportunity for all interested persons to be heard with respect to these items.
