FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library presents “Color Our World” Summer Reading Challenge

WHAT:

The 2025 Summer Reading Challenge, “Color Our World,” is not just about reading; it’s about celebrating the power of art and creativity.

This summer, color our world by discovering new interests, activities, and friends at your library! This summer’s challenge offers a variety of activities that encourage readers to explore diverse artistic expressions and deepen their love for reading and learning.

Through Beanstack, participants of all ages can track their reading and complete the challenge throughout the summer. By logging reading time, earning badges, and completing activities, you not only win prizes but also experience the joy of creative discovery all summer long. It’s a journey of exploration and fun!

Log minutes of reading, complete activities to earn badges and rewards, and complete the summer challenge. Every 150 minutes of reading logged earns you a badge. When you reach 600 minutes, you will earn a free book in addition to a badge. It’s not just about the rewards, it’s about the joy of reading and learning!

There will be prize drawings throughout the two months of the summer reading challenge. If you have logged any reading during the 2-week segments, you will be eligible for the drawing every other week. The prizes will be age-appropriate and art-related.

This challenge is open to all ages, from the youngest readers to the young at heart, fostering a sense of togetherness and shared experience as families and individuals read together.
