If you want to watch the Missouri River rise, two webcams are broadcasting LIVE 24/7. Go to www.bismarck.org under the City Spotlight on the right. One link is to the Missouri River Zoo Levee Webcam, the other is the Riverwood Drive Webcam.
The City encourages the public to view the rising river on their computers instead of driving to the Missouri. People who climb on or walk on the dikes can be fined $1,000, jailed for 30 days or both.
