On Monday, August 25, 2025, Sweet Avenue and Indiana Avenue will be closed at 3rd Street for concrete work in those intersections. The closure is planned to last until the end of the week. The detour routes for both intersections on the east side of the intersections will use 5th Street to Bowen Avenue and then west back to 3rd Street. The detour routes for both intersections on the west side of the intersections will use 2nd Street to Bowen Avenue and then east back to 3rd Street. Once Sweet Avenue and Indiana Avenue are reopened, the intersections of Bowen Avenue and Arbor Avenue at 3rd Street will be closed for concrete work in those intersections. The closure is planned to last approximately one week. The detour for traffic on the west side of the intersections will utilize 2nd Street to Indiana Avenue and east back to 3rd Street. The detour route for Bowen Avenue on the east side of the intersection at 3rd Street will use 5th Street to Indiana Avenue.
