Bismarck City offices and the landfill will be closed on Thursday, November 27th for the Thanksgiving Day holiday. The Thursday garbage route and recycling gold route will be picked up on Friday.
Holiday Week Collection Schedule for Garbage and Curbside Recycling Nov 24-28
- The Monday through Wednesday routes will be collected as normally scheduled.
- Thursday’s route (Nov 27th) will be collected on Friday, Nov 28th.
- Garbage and Recycling must be set out by 6:00 a.m. on collection day and may be set out the evening before collection.
- Crews will not be dispatched to return to an address where items were not out in time for the initial collection.

Bulk Item Collection for December
Schedule your Bulk Item Collection no later than December 15th to have items picked up on December 17th. There is a $20 service fee (max 2 service fees) plus the cost to dispose of the items at the landfill. 5 Items per Service Fee (max of 10 items).
