BISMARCK, ND—The Bismarck Fire Department extinguished a kitchen fire at a home in East Central Bismarck this evening.
At approximately 6:09 PM on Thursday, January 22, 2026, the Bismarck Fire Department received a call for a kitchen fire in a single-family home on the 300 block of East Central Ave. Bismarck Fire crews were dispatched to the scene.
Firefighters arrived on the scene at approximately 6:12 PM to find smoke coming from the front door of the residence. Fire crews quickly extinguished the fire and searched the home for occupants. Overhaul was conducted to find and extinguish any hidden fire.
No injuries were reported to occupants or firefighters. A fire investigation was conducted, and the cause of this fire was found to be accidental.
