BISMARCK, ND—The Bismarck Historical Society is pleased to welcome back Winston Satran for our February program. Winston is the author of Tough But Fair: Reformation of a Prison, the Memoir of a Warden. Building on a past program on the history of the North Dakota State Penitentiary, he will share how his 28-year career working with troubled juveniles and convicted felons led to the creation of this memoir, scheduled for release through NDSU Press in 2026.
We hope you will join us for this engaging and informative presentation and look forward to seeing you there.
The presentation is offered at no cost in Meeting Room A in the lower level of the Bismarck Veterans Memorial Public Library. For more information about the program, visit the Bismarck Historical Society's Facebook page.
