The City of Bismarck congratulates Britta Curl-Salemme on helping the U.S. Olympic Women’s Hockey Team capture gold at the 2026 Winter Games in Milan, Italy.

Curl-Salemme played a key role throughout the tournament, recording six points in seven games from her forward position. Team USA dominated the competition, outscoring opponents 33-2.

“Britta has excelled at every level of hockey, and the Olympics were no different,” Mayor Schmitz said. “The City of Bismarck is proud to have one of its own represent the United States in such an outstanding fashion on a world stage. Way to go, Britta!”

Curl-Salemme’s hockey résumé includes three state championships with the Bismarck Blizzard, three NCAA Division I titles with the Wisconsin Badgers, and a 2024 draft selection by the Minnesota Frost. She also helped the Frost win the Walter Cup in the 2024-25 season.
