[ARCHIVED] City of Bismarck Urges Caution On City Streets

Bismarck Public Works is plowing the driving lane of major Arterial routes throughout the City. There are many reports of large tree limbs down that may be blocking roadways or causing hazardous driving conditions. Citizens are urged to drive with caution and to report large, downed tree limbs to the Police Department by calling 223-1212. Do not touch downed tree limbs that are in contact with a power line. If the power line is emitting sparks call 911 immediately. There are storm sewer inlets that are blocked by the heavy, wet snow and are causing some localized street flooding. Please approach streets with standing water slowly and with caution.
