The Bismarck MSA again earns a spot in the top ten of Forbes magazine’s list of Best Small Places for Business and Careers, this year at 4. Some of the areas taken into consideration in compiling the rankings are cost of doing business (based on cost of labor, energy, taxes and office space), cost of living (based on cost of housing, utilities, transportation and other expenditures), crime rate, educational attainment, job growth and projected job growth.

North Dakota’s Fargo metro area was included on the list, with the Fargo MSA at #9.
