Travelers no longer need to fly East (to MSP) to travel West on Delta Air Lines. Beginning May 4, 2010 passengers can again book travel through the Salt Lake City hub on Delta as they reintroduce the service to the Bismarck-Mandan community.
“This connection provides more efficient travel options for Delta customers flying to Westerly destinations,” said Bismarck Airport Manager Greg Haug. “We always encourage travelers to explore their airline options at the Bismarck Airport as new service is added. Some travelers still do not realize the Bismarck Airport has direct service to Chicago on United which began almost a year ago.” Haug also recommends checking the airport website frequently for current schedules and airfare deals.
The flight departs from Bismarck Airport at 6:40 am and arrives in Salt Lake City at 8:00 am. The return flight departs Salt Lake City at 7:45 pm and gets into Bismarck Airport at 10:55pm. On June 10 a second flight is added which opens up more possibilities than ever! The second flight will operate in the afternoon.
