[ARCHIVED] Report of Fraudulent Door to Door Solicitation

At 12:40 PM today, the Bismarck Police took a report from an employee of Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch. The employee had received three calls from three different individuals sometime after 9:00 AM this morning, from people wondering if Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch had people going door to door asking for donations for the Ranch. They reported two males had been at their homes asking for donations in the 2800 to 3100 blocks of East Rosser Avenue.

Police checked the area without finding the suspects. The first suspect is a white male, 18 to 28 years old, 5’8”, wearing a black shirt and black pants. The second suspect is described as a white male, 5’7”, wearing a white and black shirt and black pants.

Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch does not have people going door to door asking for donations. If anyone has any information about these people or if they are seen, you are asked to call the Bismarck Police Department at 223-1212.
