[ARCHIVED] Bismarck Police Make Arrest in Herberger’s, Target Assaults

The Bismarck Police Department has made an arrest in connection with two incidents where women report they had been assaulted. Today at 2:26 PM, Bismarck Police arrested Adrian B Eagle, 25, Bismarck as he was walking on the 1100 block of South 3rd Street.

He was arrested on two disorderly conduct warrants. One was for an incident that occurred at Herberger’s Department Store on May 20th at 5:20 PM. A 48 year old Beverly Hills California woman reports that while she was shopping a man came up behind her, grabbed her buttocks, lifted her shirt and attempted to put his hand down the back of her pants. She screamed, the suspect fled, but was tripped by another shopper, and escorted back into the store by security. Police arrived and identified the suspect and an arrest warrant was obtained for this incident.

A second arrest warrant was issued for an incident that also happened on May 20th, between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM at Target. A 54 year old Watford City woman was shopping when a man made a comment about her body and then slapped her buttocks. She yelled and pushed him away and the man walked away calmly and headed for the door. She did not report this to police until she saw the incident that happened at Herberger’s on the news, and thought they were probably related.

At the time of his arrest, Eagle was in possession of meth paraphernalia and was also arrested for that. Eagle was taken to Burleigh County Jail.
