The Bismarck Public Library is looking for teens to join the Teen VIPs, a group of young adults in grades 8-12 who meet the 2nd Monday of every month except August. 7th graders may join as Junior VIPs. The VIPs serve as a teen advisory board to the head of Teen Services, plan and help with teen events, and may participate in any of the following: volunteering the 3rd Monday and 4th Tuesday during the school year, appearing in costume as story characters, conducting and participating in teen book discussions, and promoting the public library to the community. All hours are documented as community service for National Honor Society, school organizations, scouts, confirmation and scholarship applications.

Teens interested in becoming a member of the VIPs should complete the Teen VIPs application form and return it to the library. For more information call Teen Services at 355-1487.
