[ARCHIVED] City Planning & Zoning Commission Public Hearing Notice 9-26-12

Notice is hereby given that the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will hold public hearings on Wednesday, September 26, 2012, at 5:00 p.m. in the Tom Baker Meeting Room, City-County Building, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, to consider the following items:

• Request of Felton Developing, Inc. and the Bismarck Parks & Recreation District for approval of a zoning change from the A-Agriculture zoning district to the RR-Residential and P-Public zoning districts on Harvest Ridge Subdivision. The property is located along the east side of an extension of North Washington Street, north of 90th Avenue and approximately 1/2 mile west of US Highway 83 (part of the NW1/4 of Section 33, T140N-R80W/Burnt Creek Township).

• Request of Felton Developing, Inc. and the Bismarck Parks & Recreation District for approval of a final plat for Harvest Ridge Subdivision, a 31 lot subdivision on 84.53 acres. The property is located along the east side of an extension of North Washington Street, north of 90th Avenue and approximately 1/2 mile west of US Highway 83 (part of the NW1/4 of Section 33, T140N-R80W/Burnt Creek Township).

• Request of Five Guys Investment, LLP, Bismarck Public Schools District No. 1 and the Diocese of Bismarck for approval of a zoning change from the A-Agriculture zoning district to the R5-Residential and P-Public zoning districts on Boulder Ridge Fifth Addition. The property is located in northwest Bismarck, between 43rd Avenue NW and 57th Avenue NW, east of North Washington Street and approximately 1/2 mile west of US Highway 83 (part of the NW1/4 and the SW1/4 of Section 16, T139N-R80W/Hay Creek Township).

• Request of Five Guys Investment, LLP, Bismarck Public Schools District No. 1 and the Diocese of Bismarck for approval of a final plat for Boulder Ridge Fifth Addition, a 70 lot subdivision on 58.54 acres. The property is located in northwest Bismarck, between 43rd Avenue NW and 57th Avenue NW, east of North Washington Street and approximately 1/2 mile west of US Highway 83 (part of the NW1/4 and the SW1/4 of Section 16, T139N-R80W/Hay Creek Township).

• Request of Kenneth Reno and Felton Developing, Inc. for approval of a zoning change from the R5-Residential zoning district to the R10-Residential zoning district on Lots 2-8, Block 16, Lots 19-22 & Lots 24-26, Block 17, Sonnet Heights Subdivision and Lots 1-7, Block 3 and Lot 1, Block 4, Hudson Street Addition. The property is located along both sides of Bremner Avenue west of Coleman Street and along Hudson Street south of Weyburn Drive, approximately 1/4 mile west of US Highway 83.

• Request of Jeff and Heather Zins for a special use permit for a group day care facility to be located in Lot 8, Block 2, Welle Subdivision (8887 Welle Loop). The property is located along the south side of Welle Loop, west of 15th Street NW and north of 84th Avenue NW.

• Request of Gary and Carole Johnson for approval of a rural residential lot split for Lot 5, Block 1, Meadow View Second Subdivision to split this 4.82 acre tract into two parcels, a 1.86 tract and a 2.96 acre tract. The property is located at the corner of Larson Road and Smokey Lane (1600 Larson Road).

At these hearings, the Bismarck Planning & Zoning Commission will provide an opportunity for all interested persons to be heard with respect to these items. Descriptions of these requests are on file and may be viewed or copied any working day between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. at the City-County Community Development Department, 221 North 5th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota.
