Starting at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2012, Schafer Street will be closed to through traffic north of Divide Avenue.

A detour will be in place. Access to the Bismarck Community Bowl can be made by following the detour.

Southbound traffic on Schafer Street will be detoured east on Divide Avenue to College Drive, then west on College Drive back to Schafer Street.

Northbound traffic on Schafer Street will be detoured east on College Drive to Divide Avenue, then west on Divide Avenue back to Schafer Street.

Driveways to Dakota Collectibles and Stadium Sports Bar will be accessible from the south.

Closure is for installation of water and sewer connections for the new Hampton Inn. Schafer Street will be reopened to traffic on Sunday.

Local traffic should seek alternate routes.
