The Bismarck Fire Department is pleased to announce that it has promoted three individuals. A promotion and pinning ceremony was held Monday, February 11.

Fire Captain Jeff Holte was promoted to Battalion Chief. Battalion Chief Holte has been serving with the Bismarck Fire Department since 1984 and has been assigned as the Battalion Chief on A Shift.

Fire Fighter Josh Peshek was promoted to Captain. Captain Peshek has been serving with the Bismarck Fire Department since 2004 and has been assigned to Battalion C and is currently working out of the Tyler Parkway fire station.

Firefighter Jon Hildremyr was promoted to Captain. Captain Hildremyr has been serving with the Bismarck Fire Department since 2005 and has been assigned to Battalion A and is currently working out of the Sleepy Hollow Station.

During the ceremony the Fire Chaplain was also be recognized for his change in status to permanent.
