Starting at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 18, 2013, 4th Street between Divide Avenue and Capitol Avenue will be closed to through traffic to replace a water main on Central Avenue that crosses 4th Street.

This closure will be in place until the end of the day on Wednesday, June 19, weather permitting.

A detour will be in place.

Northbound traffic should turn right on Divide Avenue to 5th Street, then North on 5th Street to Capitol Avenue, then west back to 4th Street.

Southbound traffic should turn left on Capitol Avenue to 5th Street, then south on 5th Street to Divide Avenue, then west back to 4th Street.

Drivers can expect to encounter congestion during peak traffic periods at the 4th Street and Divide Avenue intersection.

Drivers are urged to utilize alternate routes.
