Bismarck Public Works will begin today with clean-up operations to remove downed street tree branches and materials. "Our first concern is public safety. We will focus first on removing weak tree branches and tree materials from public streets that present the most safety risk," said Jeff Heintz, Director, Service Operations. Public Works crews will work throughout the week to pick up downed tree materials that are placed on boulevards. We ask residents not to place tree materials in the street.
Tree materials must be cut into four-foot lengths, bundled, and placed on the boulevard. The tree materials will be picked up from homes on the regularly scheduled garbage pickup day.
We ask for your patience during the cleanup process.
