Bismarck and Mandan fire departments have learned of a scam that is taking place in the Bismarck Mandan area by Firehouse Promotions and want residents and businesses to be aware of the scam.

Firehouse Promotions is contacting local businesses soliciting donations and/or advertising for magnetic boards that they claim contain emergency phone numbers and fire safety tips. Firehouse Promotions claims that the magnetic boards will then be distributed by firefighters throughout the local community.

Chief Boespflug has been in contact with the Bismarck Rural Fire Department, Mandan Fire Department and Mandan Rural Fire Department. “The Bismarck and Mandan local and rural fire departments want residents and businesses to know that none of the Bismarck Mandan Fire Departments are doing business with Firehouse Promotions and are not participating or associated with them in any way,” said Joel Boespflug.
