Peter began his study of the instrument at the age of seven with John Sutherland in Atlanta, GA. He made his professional debut at age 15. Peter has taken Master classes with José Tomás, Pepe Romero, Christopher Parkening, Oscar Ghiglia, and David Russel.
He holds a Master of Music degree from the Eastman School of Music, where he was a student of Nicholas Goluses and was twice the recipient of an Eastman Graduate Award. He gives over 100 concerts a year and has six CD recordings.
Works by major composers will include J.S. Bach, Edvard Grieg, and Niccolò Paganini. Also music from Praetorius, Frescobaldi, Mompou, Tàrrega, and Jeremy Gill. Sponsored by the Friends of the Bismarck Public Library. Free and open to the public.
