[ARCHIVED] Bismarck Cleanup Week September 16-20

Bismarck’s fall clean-up week is September 16-20. Place special items out for collection by 8:00 am on the regular scheduled garbage day.

Residential Collection
Place items for special pick-up at their point of collection. City crews will pick up items not ordinarily collected on the route such as furniture items, appliances, and tires.

Apartment ComplexesPlace items for special pick-up on the boulevard. City crews will pick up furniture items and tires.
Note: Crews will not pick up appliances from apartment complexes. Items may be taken to the landfill. Landfill charges will apply.

A separate truck will pick up the special items set out for collection. Tree branches and wood material must be cut in 4-foot lengths and tied in bundles. All loose materials must be boxed or bagged or tied in bundles. It is illegal to remove any refuse set out for collection. Landfill charges will apply when disposing of items at the landfill.

Household Hazardous Waste & Electronic Recycling CenterThe following items will not be collected on the route. These items may be taken to HHW & Electronic Recycling Center located at the landfill. There is no charge for Bismarck residents to dispose of these items when delivering them to the Center.
